Daniel Share-Strom is one of the best-known Autism self-advocates and keynote speakers in Ontario. He’s a writer, motivational speaker, workshop facilitator, and partner in a social initiative called Autism Goggles determined to ‘rebrand autism’ to focus on ability and strengths. Diagnosed with ASD at a young age, Daniel has been moving audiences with his self-awareness, poignant insight, and humour for nearly 15 years. He frequently provides full day workshops and keynote speeches which help parent groups, universities, workplaces, and health care professionals to understand the many features of autism using plain language and practical examples.
Daniel delivered his message of autism understanding and acceptance on a world stage last April as the keynote speaker at the Centres for Disease Control (CDC) in Atlanta, Georgia, for their Autism Awareness Month event. In 2016, he delivered his first Tedx Talk. He recently shifted understanding of autism for a room full of Canadian change-makers with a speech to The Conference Board of Canada.
He holds an Honours Degree in Communications from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology and is currently completing a certificate in Positive Psychology.
