Maxine Share is an autistic advocate, writer, consultant, workshop facilitator and developer. She is a passionate champion of the strengths and abilities of all autistic people. She runs the popular Facebook page, Autism Goggles, with her son, Daniel Share-Strom. The page focuses on writing articles intended to move readers to an informed understanding of what it can mean to be a person with the so-called ‘high-functioning’ autism identification—and invites readers to consider situations through the autism lens.
With Daniel, she writes and helps to delivers a fun and informative one-day bootcamp-type workshop for parents and interested others to learn about ASD Level 1. Thousands have attended the popular, ‘What Doctors Don’t Tell You and Teachers Don’t Know’ presentation over the past 14 years.
